Given Keith Vaz's history of blaming all the ills of the Labour government on computer games and the terrible influence they are supposedly having on the youth of today, I am slightly surprised we have heard nothing yet from Mr Vaz regarding the release this week of the next game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise (GTA IV).
A few months ago he got very hot under the collar about a game about a school bully and unwittingly gave the manufacturers an enormous amount of free publicity, and it can only be a matter of time before he gets on his high horse over GTA IV.
Of course Mr Vaz falls in to that category of Labour MP's who see the problems that the country faces as all being down to other factors and nothing really to do with the political party he is part which has been running the country for the last 11 years. What a prat !

Vaz is comming to the end of his political stint just like the rest of his party. so dont worry about him.
Hah! I was thinking the same thing a few days ago. But if you Google News Vaz, you'll find him mumbling something about ensuring shops only sell GTA4 to over 18yr olds. Presumably thats why they have the stickers. He's got too much time on his hands.
Computer games are a tricky one. I know lots of Conservatives are completely anti any restrictions on them, but I fail to see the logic in allowing games onto the market that glamourise prostitution, carnage etc.
