Why are Gordon Brown and David Cameron banging on about Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross when the economy has gone belly up ?
In David Cameron's case its because he has no economic policy so a chance to talk about anything else is an opportunity not to be missed, but now with Gordon Brown joining in, you really have to ask if they have not got anything better to do.

They probably commented because they were asked. I notice Clegg wasn't ... is that what you really have a problem with here? Not your usual high standard of post.
I am pleased Nick Clegg has not spoken about this. Utter triviality. Whatever next, Cameron commenting on the Big Brother house ?
Glad to see someone else thinks this is all distraction, hot-air and above all, bloody hypocrisy from much of the media.
