Honestly. Ealing is going well for the Tories, after all, the Daily Mail, sorry Standard says so !

Iain Dale bases his assertions on the Tory campaign in Ealing Southall on the fact that the London version of the Daily Mail (also known as the Evening Standard), says so.

Well, if the Mail says so it must be true, after all you could never call the Daily Mail the unofficial mouthpiece of the Tory Party.

No you couldn't! The Daily Mail seems to be deeply in love with Gordon Brown.

So why haven't we seen lots of gushing coverage about the LibDem candidate? Ealing Southall is a two horse race ... between the Labour Party and Tony Lit. The fact is that the LibDems have had their own tactics turned on them.

Because Tory papers gush about the Tories, the Labour papers about Labour and, well work out why there is no gushing about the Lib Dems for yourself.

LibDems can't win here. Only Tony Lit can beat Labour. Boring isn't it? Well that's what you do irrespective of the facts.

And of course the facts are that Betfair has the Tories as the rank outsiders in Southall. They rarely get it wrong and since the betting on their is often involving lots of political types who go to by-elections, I guess the betting there is a good guide.

Nich, as I said the other day, I am, sadly, becoming tired of your childish attacks on us Conservatives. Have you actually been to Southall? I was told that it was going well, so I travelled there today to help Tony Lit and gage the mood of the campaign. I got off at Southall train station and turned left, towards the shops on the Broadway. Every other shop and restaurant had a "Vote Tony Lit" poster up. The quality of our literature was really good and we have thousands of activists to help delivery and canvass. In contrast, I saw one or two Lib Dem posters, but even they were displayed next to Vote Lit ones! And I spotted your candidate going around canvassing with a very small team of people. He certainly didn't look happy. The election is going to be close - between Tony and Labour. Can't wait to see the look of Lib Dem faces at the count, especially that twat Pack. Perhaps you ought to get down and see what’s going on? I know that Lib Dems act shamelessly, stir endlessly and are wicked, but I thought better of you.

Justin, I'm not going to take lessons from you. You. after all, refer to Lib Dems as "Dim" in your headings, you follow the same pattern of other Tory bloggers and you show your colours. i do the same and I see nothing wrong in that.

I welcome your comments, but don't criticise me for reporting facts, which is what I have done today.

And there was me thinking it was only Lib Dems who used Headlines to their advantage.

Example

"Cameron to Sack police" has been seen on many Lib Dem leaflets.

BUT, when you read the article, it is all about sacking od incompetant police - which I dont think any one would argue with.
