Let me be one of the first to congratulate Liverpool on beating Chelsea tonight to go in to the European Cup final (as it should be called).
As an Evertonian, you can imagine that I don't have a lot of time for the red half of Merseyside, but credit where credit is due, Liverpool play much better football in European matches than they ever do in the Premiership.
Well done to them, and as an Englishman, I also wish good luck to Manchester United tomorrow. An all Premiership[ Champions League final would be something of a spectacle and would be well worth watching.

Mate, if you shared a city with the arrogant bellends you'd not be saying that. Just check out the Change History of Everton's wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Everton_F.C.&diff=127667353&oldid=127641788) to get a sense of the snidey low level gloating and piss-taking us blues have to endure. Screw them...I don't wish them ill but if they lose I'll breathe a sigh of relief as it'll mean we won't get our noses rubbed in it by the smug gets.
I agree with you that their fans are truly pathetic. I am pleased that the Liverppol fans I know are genuine football fans and enjoy the banter, but don't go too far.
The fact that some choose to act like imbeciles shows just what great fans we Evertonians are.
Still, I guess this is something tht Liverpool fans have picked up from their foreign masters. A team full of foreigners, a management team of foreigners, foreign owners, to be fair, it shouldn't surprise us that the best traditions of merseyside rivalry have been forgotten.
