The EDP reports that North Norfolk will have no traffic wardens operating for the next few weeks.
I'd love to report that this is a new problem, but we have not had a traffic warden Fakenham for several months, and Norfolk Constabulary do not see it as a priority to employ one, neither will they allow Police Community Support Officers to issue traffic tickets for parking offences.
It seems that Norfolk Constabulary seem disinterested in the traffic problems in North Norfolk towns. However, they are still keen to collect the money from speed cameras between Fakenham and Holt. Double standards ? You be the judge.
