Two drop-outs from Mid Norfolk Tory selection, but are not replaced by locals

I made the point the other day on this blog that surely there are one tory in the whole of Norfolk who is good enough to be in the top 10 shortlisted candidates. Now, with the withdrawal of two people who have been replaced by two "names", who are not local, it appears there isn't one who is good enough even for the top 12 !

I guess you could look at it two ways. One possibility is that the Conservatives are not bowing to public pressure, so you could say well done to them. Alternatively, you could argue that they don't give a damn about local opinion, so what does that say about them ?

Trying to be "fair" and "open minded", you can make your own minds up.
