I refer you to my post of two years ago

Two years ago I wrote about the lies peddled by the Countryside Alliance regarding hunting.

It appears two years on nothing has changed, indeed they CSA laim to have more support than ever for hunting. Can we assume therefore that their claims of doom, job losses, the mass culling of hounds and us all being overun by foxes were lies ?

The fact is, as I proved HERE, the Countryside Alliance are little more than a Tory front anyway. They actively campaigned against MPs who did not even support the hunting ban in 2005, highlighting that fact that they are a political orgnaisation more than a lobbying organisation whilst their claims to speak on behalf of the countryside are like me officially declaring that I speak on behalf of the people of India because I like a take away.

I thinks it's more to do with the hunt lobby being far smarter and street savvy about the law than hunt saboteurs and Labour politicians tbh.
Nothing is more likely to make an organisation succeed than official opposition, take the BNP for example ;-)

There is no case for repeal. Hunt numbers are up all over the country. Drag hunting is legal. The sense of community, pageantry, heritage, and jobs are all still intact and yet these disgraceful people can’t manage to enjoy themselves unless they are terrifying and killing animals.

Please if you support the hunting act, get your name on the R.O.A.R. (Register Online Against Repeal), an ‘all party’ list at: http://www.campaignfordecency.org.uk

My family hail from West Norfolk and East Cambs, and as they are also farmers. I can tell you that nothing about the hunt is protecting the culture of Norfolk.

I am from country stock and have lived in the country most of my life and these people do not represent the country way of life at all. They represent their own priviliged way of life, a particular horsey set which is nothing to do with country or village life.

Traditional ways of life ? Child abuse was fairly traditional, so was a husband beating his wife !

Ye Gods, Johnny Norfolk!

I expect you'd bring back the workhouse at Gressenhall as well. That was 'traditional' for many decades and for many poor people.

(I have to add that I wouldn't mind the stocks being brought back - and used).
