Actually the title of this post is supposed to be sarcastic. We already have a Green candidate who stood in the Norwich North by-election whose carbon footprint is higher than I will achieve in a lifetime whilst the Greens voting record on Norwich City Council shows a level of inconsistency even the government would find hard to match.
So we shouldn't be surprised in the least to read that the Green Party leader does not follow her own advice when it comes to preventing energy and heat loss.
That said, the story is in the Daily Scum, so it probably isn't true.

When I was a Green Councillor and had a bonfire there was much similar criticism on a very local basis.
Had the wood etc been left to rot aerobically the slower oxidation would have had the same effect so far as calories released was concerned as a school teacher should realise.
Prob unwise to post party political links to the Dully Maul?
Do you not think, Norfie, that scum, being a slang term for seminal fluid, which is of inestimable use in certain circumstances, is therefore inappropriate to apply to the Dully Maul?
Not worthy . .
I do know a bit about carbon release and know that rotting and burning have the same effect.
I did put the caveat that is was from the Mail.
Ok, fair doos, won't develop that metaphor.
