Last week I wrote that Tom Watson MP was six months behind me in questioning why the DVLA were giving away Spanish built cars instead of British built cars.
This week a Tory MP asks the same question.
Nice to know that the Tories are six months behind the Lib Dems and a week behind Labour.
Hat Tip to Peter Black.

Is he the guy that was once a Lib Dem PPC for Chester or somewhere like that?
Anyway, I've never seen a mention of the competition on the DVLA TV adverts - I only noticed it because I too retaxed my car last month.
However I am also pretty sure that when I looked at it more closely, they even explained why it was not a British made car (something to do with the fact that no British made car fulfilled the brief of being in that ultra-low emissions group and ultra-high mpg group). Also that they had to do an EU tender anyway and that SEAT came in with the best offer.
You will be championing the Jowett next, Oh, that was Yorks though, no Norfolk marques being disadvantaged?
Good that the ultra sharp and ultra quick Labour scheme helped keep a few folk here in work - eh?

This is a great site that you have here. I have a debate site myself and I would like to exchange links with you. We need to stick together. Let me know. Jason
