I am having to use my own blog to comment on Tristan's musings because his blog has some odd registration system that requires me to jump through several hoops in order to comment.
Ironically, he says in his blog that he has had to to respond to Adrian Sanders on his own blog because Adrian Sanders Myspace blog requires him to register.
People in glass houses Tristan !
Update : Oh dear, Oh dear oh dear oh dear. I hang my head in shame and apologise for not observing that Tristan's comments on his blog are not in the same place as everyone else's, but are at the top of each posting instead. I note that Tristan has taken my comments in great style and says he is considering changing his layout. Still, a case of me posting in haste, feeling daft at leisure.
At least it proves one thing, I am human after all !

Except it doesn't.
You can register if you like, but anyone is free to leave comments as the amount of spam I get attests.
I've also just confirmed it (just in case the settings got changed somehow).
There are no "comment" boxes that I saw under your postings and it does have a bit that says "Register". I've often wanted to comment about what you have written (and agreed with you about Adrian Sanders), but there is no obvious "comment" box on your blog.
Hmmm...
On each individual post page there is a comment box at the bottem when I visit without being logged in.
It is certainly my intention to allow anyone to post without logging in (as I find it annoying ;) ).
What OS/browser are you using? I'll see if that makes any difference...
(FWIW, Firefox on Linux and OS X works fine, as does Opera on Linux - I'll have to wait until I get home for a Windows box, but will check)
Tristan, a govelling apology will appear on this blog later. I appear to ahve been looking at the bottom of the postings rather than the top for comments.
I cannot delete stories from work, but will put up a suitable apology later.
Heh, no problem...
Its easy to miss it seems.
I'll have to have a think about the design at some point to make it clearer.
Nich: Have you tried Specsavers?
