Does anyone believe the London 2012 Olympic Stadium will cost £496 million ?

As nice a design as it is, the London 2012 Stadium has already jumped in cost from £280m to £496m in just two years. You have to ask with the increased cost of steel for the building work, the shortage of builders in the UK and the history of projects like this going over budget, does anyone believe it will cost £496 million ?
