How can you tell when the Tories are lying ?

... it's when they write something in a leaflet.

A big hat tip to lib Dem Voice for pointing out that in May, during the elections the Tories claimed in Guildford that they would keep weekly bin collections and now, in September they are introducing fortnightly collections.

...coming from the party with the dodgy bar charts and "two horse race" strapline I think that is a bit rich!

Click on to the link to the Tory leaflet from Lib Dem voice if you want to see a dodgy bar chart. the use of the pound coins stacked, but some start much lower than others.

To be fair, if you had seen the Ealign Southall bar Charts the Tories were using, claiming to be in a clear second place, you'd hang your head in shame and never mention a dodgy bar chart again !

Total tosh! The bar chart in Ealing referred to the council election results. I've lost count of the number of Focuses that I've seen claiming that the Lib Dems “don't receive money from big business or trade unions...”

Tesco joins the Joseph Rowntree Trust (PLC!), Manchester Airport, Alpha Healthcare Ltd, McDonalds - I could go on! In fact, to save time visit http://www.aberdareonline.co.uk/content/public/forum/message.asp?forum=3&ID=54106 for more examples.

Some trade unions have donated to Lib Dem coffers, too.

And let's not forget the Michael Brown donation of two £million donation, which has still not been paid...

this would presumably be the same Tory leaflet that had the headline about it being a two horse race between the Tories and Labour ?

Well done for challenging this very tired Tory criticism head on. Same old tired Tories, same old tired lies.
