Having been setting my Sky+ box to record the US TV series "Heroes", I had to make a decision about whether I was actually going to watch the programmes or delete them (we need the space on the hard drive), so when my son woke me up at some unearthly hour of the morning demanding a clean nappy and baby milk, I decided that it was the perfect time to watch all three programmes back to back. And I am so pleased I did.
The production values of Heroes is incredibly high, it really is like a film, a good soundtrack, and element of menace, gore, but not too much as to make you squeamish and fine acting all coupled with a brilliantly crafted storyline. I personally love the little Japanese guy (Hiro) who can make time stand still and can teleport, but the whole story is fascinating.
If you've not seen it, I don't think it is too late to catch up (in typical US TV style the do a reprise at the start of each episode) , but as someone who aside from The Simpsons generally loathes all US TV, Heroes is amazingly good.

It is a great series and, unlike Lost, there is a conclusion at the end of the first series too.
Hiro just gets better and better.
Enjoy ;-)
