When are my local Tory Councillors going to tidy up after their fly-posting ?

On Wednesday , the invisible Tory Councillors in my area ( Taverham North) decided that street litter was the new way forward, so they attached a number of Conservative posters to street lamps, road signs, county highways fencing and trees, in order to boost their profile.

The question is, why is it that by the following Sunday, some four days later, they have not been bothered to go round and collect in their street litter.

What a good example the Conservative Councillors have set to the electorate of Taverham North.

Hope they are soon taken down. The worst offenders are Respect and their SWP allies.

Isn't that actually illegal???

Anyway, what was the result in Taverham North ... did it impact on the Tory vote at all?

I don't know, but I can assure you the electorate will not be allowed to forget that flyposting is wrong in principle and practise and it was not the Lib Dems that were doing it. Also the fact that the signs were/are not removed will also be mentioned over and over.

It's upon these little things that votes are won and lost.

And yes, flyposting is illegal, but it is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, which means that a private prosecution has to be brought forward (much like the law of trespass)
