It is reported on Labour Home that Unison are not backing the Labour Party in the Scottish elections whilst the Scottish T.U.C. only backed Labour by a majority of one single vote !
Dark times for Labour indeed, especially given recent opinions polls both in England and Scotland.

That is good news. As someone who used to represent Unison nationally I have always despaired at the lapdog attitude to support for a party with policies that fly in the face of its own. Another good reason it seems to me for our party to do a bit more courting out there in union land!
