EXCLUSIVE - New Lib Dem "Magazine" Style Leaflet to hit the streets tomorrow

I've been sent (by the Lib Dem team) the newest Lib Dem magazine style leaflet that is to hit the streets tomorrow.

This leaflet would put the Lib Dems one ahead of the Tories with seven leaflets to the Tories six. Still, this is some way ahead of Labour (two) and UKIP (two - of which one arrived in the post today - more on this later). Still no Green leaflet delivered although I have seen it on the internet.

Note - For the idiot who keeps sending me messages complaining that I favour the Lib Dems. Firstly, I am a Lib Dem. If you want a Tory bias read Iain Dale's Diary. And secondly, if other parties want to give me the digital versions of their leaflets I am willing to post these up to this site too. At the moment they are not taking up this option.

Looks good but, Snap? Explain?

Err - Something catchy I suppose.

Sorry to be so cynical, but your candidate isn't good looking enough to win.

Wheres the UKIP one ?

UKIP will be posted up tomorrow. Too busy tonight.

Snap appears to come up from the Lib Dems whereever there are byelections. It looks very similar to the one from the Crewe and Nantwich byelection, with the photo history of the candidates life, a picture with the pet (Elizabeth Shenton had a cat), and the bit on the back with how they've done some good locally (Elizabeth Shenton had something to do with saving a cat), and the runners and riders, with how wonderful the Lib Dem is, and how awful the Labour and Tory candidate is.

Rather cynical, and I doubt it will do April Pond any better than Snap did in Crewe and Nantwich.

It' looks pretty garish and horrible...

So cynical that both Labour and Tories have copied.

The attack on Rupert Green as an extremist is appalling & pathetic. It gives the lie to any claim of the moral highground from the Lib Dems. I cannot understand how anybody in the Lib Dems can tolerate this shocking deceit.

It is about as deplorable as I have ever known in politics.

Nich Starling said...

If telling the truth is deplorable, then the Green Party have a very twisted view.

What is untrue in the article ?

It does not even mention his carbon footprint (look at the distance he has travelled on the UEA Website) or him disrupting an event when Charles Kennedy visited Norwich at the last general election.

so can we see the UKIP leaflet now, any leaflets from BNP yet

So censorship as well now.....if you can't stand the debate, stop writing such whiny shit and get a proper job.

You moan about Iain Dale but censor any criticism about the outrageous lies you tell about other parties.

Delete Grumpy Old and the rest of the blog name sums you up!!!

Nich Starling said...

Yes, I censor abusive comments.

Of course, I could ask who censors your name ?

Anonymous said...

Er, where's the previous comments? So as well as pious twaddle, downright deceipt by Ms Pond, we can now add selected editing?

Credibility now zero my old son, perhaps its time for a lie down?

I refer the anonymous gentleman to the reply I gave some hours ago.

To think that an anonymous poster can keep a airsight face when lecturing on cedibility and censorship.

This leaflet makes me ill. April looks so scary.

Reference the conservative candidate working at Westminister. I see the Lib Dems are now the UKs
nasty party .

Nasty, deceitful & dishonest...Charles Kennedy would be appalled...I might actually ask him after the election (he would be too much of a gent to say what he thinks during.)

As for RR carbon footprint - that is a legitimate question - put reasonably without the massive exaggeration that the Lib-Dems appear to have to exercise on every occasion.

Calling him an apologist for Islamic terrorists is truly pathetic...
