Garden posters in Norwich North

It seems that Labour have been caught on the hop by their own decision to call the by-election in Norwich North on 23rd July.

As soon as last night, Tory poster boards started going up in gardens. I have seen four poster sites (a note to the Tories - Putting two posters up in each garden still look like one poster site, not two), and four Lib Dem poster boards up in gardens too. Labour, in contrast, have none up so far, not even in Mile Cross where they can usually rely on a good display of poster boards even if they did lose the County Council seat there this year.

A colleague of mine who lives in Mile Cross also reported being canvassed by the Lib Dems last night.

Already it seems Labour are in danger of relegating themselves in to third place by falling behind the Tories in both leaflets delivered and poster boards in gardens. If what people I know in Norwich North are saying is true for people across the constituency, there is very little love for the Labour party at the moment and a parliamentary by-election is not going to change that.

I think you'll find that's the candidates house. Not really representative of the constituency is it !

Well saying that I counted 12 on one road earlier !

Really? I never knew total number of leaflets delivered equated to winning an election. Fucking cretin.

Don't put yourself down Mr Anonymous. It is obvious to most people with any political knowledge that those parties that deliver the most leaflets (and in effect fo the most campaigning) tend to be more successful. The fact that you don't know this shows you know little about politics, but don't call yourself a cretin !

It would be ok if the newsletters contained anything of interest.
The whole campaign by the three major parties would appear as amateurish and the candidates.

Just how much are the Tories spending on this campaign? at a guess I reckon it would be double that of Labour and quite posible a lot,lot more.
