3rd Lib Dem leaflet in Norwich North

Another day, another leaflet. This leaflet is A3, folded in to three, which is why it appears to have part printed upside down. When folded it is all the right way round.

The score so far ? Liberal Democrat 3, Conservative 3, Labour 1, UKIP 1, and all the others zero.

Labour are rather losing the ground war so far .Their only leaflet so far was far too negative and didn't appeal to Labour voters I know. Indeed some people I work with have still not got it.

Anyone seen the Green leaflet ? If so post me a copy and I'll post it up to to my blog. They may be sending me appalling anonymous comments (linking directly from other Green blogs who are also not entirely polite), but I'd love to see their leaflet.

Can I ask a question?

On the graph (where Lib Dems come second with 28%) where are those figures from? It says source BBC news and talks about "English local elections" does that mean this is the results across England? Or in Norwich North? It doesn't say and I couldn't work it out...

Sorry if I'm being dense and it is on the leaflet and I missed it.

I think they are the national figures from the English local elections.

UKIP have actually put out two leaflets, but the first one had a much more targetted distribution I think.

Very targetted in that nobody IN know in Sprowston, Hellesdon, Mile Cross, Taverham or Drayton has received it.

Not really a whole leaflet if it does not go out everywhere.

If it helps I have received two UKIP leaflets lol. It was on MP expenses. No local issues thou

Where do you live ?

The first UKIP leaflet was distributed to selected residences in Sprowston, Taverham and Drayton.

If the LibDems are going to use a bar chart from the County/Euro elections in June (where IIRC they finished fourth in Norwich North), can we be spared the sanctimonious reaction of some LibDems when the Tories employ a bar chart from the last general election in Norwich North? – just asking ;)

If they use the correct siz bars on their graphs, why not.

The point is though that the Tory graph is wrong as it misrepresents the votes from the last general election.

Now what was your point exactly ?

As I say... it's not as thought the Tories have done anything that LibDems haven’t pioneered for years now, a slight tinkering of the size of different bars isn’t exactly something that hasn’t been tried before.

And the Tory leaflet delivered in Cheadle that implied the Lib Dem was a wanted paedohpile ? Proud of that are we ?

In a word 'NO'... but what exactly does that have to do with doddgy bar charts?

I dont have a problem with the LibDems using a bar chart that isnt exactly kosher - it's just when some LibDems react with indignation to a fairly legitimate bar chart from another party.
