All the fuss and furore over Labour accepting £600,000 in dodgy donations has highlighted one thing above everything else.
When Gordon Brown said no to a donation not properly declared, he showed some sense. When Hilary Benn did likewise, he showed he knew what he was doing. But when Harman accepted money she proved she really was dim after all.

I agree it raises a question as to Harriet Harman's state of mind. However, I don't believe that she is dim. She is very bright. Perhaps we should look for another explanation as to her conduct? Especially, as she states that she does not know whether Kidd approached her to make the donation or whether she approached Kidd. And, Abrahams has also stated that he does not know the answer. Why is it a mystery? There is nothing complicated about knowing whether you have asked someone for money or whether someone offered you some.
