Cameron says "Bring it it on - We're ready for an election". Indeed, as soon as Gordon Brown became leader David Cameron demanded an immediate election.
So why is Malcolm Rifkind saying today that a snap election "would be an outrage".
So is Rifkind really calling his leader outrageous or is this the clearest sign yet that the Tories are scared to death of an election at the moment ?
