Sainsbury's - Try something different today

I wonder what Sainsbury's mean by their strapline "Try Something Different Today"

A drunken riot or an orgy perhaps ?

P.S. Everyone should read the first comment here. Very enlightening indeed about Sainsbury's management ethos in Sainsbury's.

The Sainsbury strap line has more relevance than you think. The Celtic Manor orgy is only the tip of the iceberg. As a senior employee for over a year until I was forced to leave in April 2006, I was continuosly advised to enrol myself in the Sainsbury Swinger`s club to further my career. Senior executives are encouraged to swap wives and visit lap dancing clubs with clients and colleagues. I signed a confidentiality agreement but feel bitter that I was forced out. Neither I or my wife are interested in this sort of thing and found it disgusting that it was encouraged at board level.
We have now moved to Norfolk where despite rumours of incest and heathen practices very little of that nature goes on.

Sounds dreadful. I may have to start using Tesco if Sainsbury's are really like this.

Your anonymous commenter says: "We have now moved to Norfolk where despite rumours of incest and heathen practices very little of that nature goes on."

I lived in Norfolk for six years and I can assure him that he is just not looking the right places.

To Mr Anonymous who made allegations about a Sainsbury manager in Gloucestershire, I suggest you give a link or a source for your claims as I will not publish things that might be libellous.
