Poor old Sheffield United

I have a lot of sympathy for Sheffield United after they were relegated today.

i think just about everyone I know who has an interest in football believes that West Ham should have had points deducted for their dodgy signing of Carlos Tevez. The fact that he might now be correctly registered does not negate the fact that he was playing for West Ham illegally, according to Premiership rules and could West Ham have changed his registration and ownership details from illegal ones in to legal ones had he not been registered illegally in the first place ?

I think West Ham was not deducted points because the FA made fools of themselves back in August when they approved the transfer. Sheffield United will try to sue, but it's all over already. End of story.

...and if you put West Ham down, I'll have to say something really, really nasty about Norfolk... =;-)

Never mind the registration shenanigans, I was looking forward to welcoming Robert Green and Dean Ashton back to the Championship...

Although I'm not a football fan, fancy losing to WEST HAM...
