Fortress North Norfolk

A massive congratulations has to in today to NorthNorfolk Liberal Democrats for their astonishingly good results in the local elections.
.
What the results dont actually show is that the one seat the Lib Dems lost was by just three votes and they actually did better last night than they did four years ago when the Lib Dems won only 28 seats.
.
The 30 seats won today include two seats won in by elections including St Benet, which had been described by the Tories as being 'on loan' to the Lib Dems.
.
Why have I included a picture of The Tower of London ? Well I am in London on a school trip and it represented to me the strength of The Lib Dems in North Norfolk.

We were supposed to do the Houses of Parliament followed by the London Eye then the National Gallery. But the bess turned up more than an hour late so we had to miss the Parliament and instead we were dropped off near Buckingham Palace walked through St James' Park, Horseguards, Whitehall, Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Bridge, The Eye and then the gallery. It was lovely weather and we had a great day.
