I think it's a interesting post but without being on the ground i can't personally say whether this is some political point scoring using photos. We have no proof that they really are in the same ward. i am sure every party has a mix of billboards - some with names and some without. I'm not so sure this isn't one councillors scewed views on this...
What ? Me pointing to the blog of a councillor from another political party and you don't like it ? I think if you read the text you'll see I make no comment, merely report what another blog is saying.
No Norfolk Blogger. Wasn't referring to you but Bob Piper and take the point about the same name/area. Still think every party has different billboard variations and two photos doesn't really say anything. But is interesting If (And i say if) true
PS The house in the background of the 2nd picture look suspiciously just like the house in the first picture. Surely this 'richer' district is a lot further away than just down the street, isn't it? ;)
Whilst there is no evidence to prove we ware playing the 'race card', the Lib Dems definitely DID it in the Leicester South parliamentary by-election. In the white wards, your candidate was "Gill"; in the Asian wards, he was "Singh". His name is Singh-Gill (I think). No doubt this tactic was dreamt up by Dr. Packaging?!
Justin, I know that is the popular line the Tories want to plug, but it misses a basic couple of facts.
1) In the Sikh community the use of the Singh is expected more, even if you are using the Anglised traditional First and Last names normally yourself. Secondly, some leaflts went to ress early on with Singh, in order to distinguish him in the Asian areas from his huncle, whose name was similar, who had been reportedly standing as a Socialist candidate.
The simplistic answer is not always the obvious one. Still , if you are saying the Lib Dems did it on purpose, are you also suggesting the Tories are copying bad behaviour ? I thought "Dave" was supposed to be setting a good example !
Poor answer, Mr. NB! You are fast becoming the new Dr. Packaging with all these non-stories, designed to embarrass us Conservatives. It doesn't suit you - we want the old NB back.
David Anthony... I would arrange a visit to your optician if I were you. The 'house' in the first picture is part of a block of flats, and looks nothing like the double fronted windows of the house a mile away in the second picture.

Another nasty attack by the "fair open minded" Norfolk Blogger.
Thank goodness my kids are not taught by a nasty piece of work like you.

They must be the same ward because the Labour candidate's name is the same.
How brave you are JG to post an anonymous abusive comment. How proud your children must be.

More like a common Labour tactic of using erroneous tidbits of information to paint other parties as dishonest and underhanded.

Justin, the tone of my blog is very similar to yours. And for goodness sakes, sign in !!!!

I must say, this comes across as a petty smear.
It's this type of back biting nonsense that makes people dislike the politically active.
