Lots to celebtrate but too ill to do the celebrating

I should be over the moon today. Due to school mergers we all had to re-apply for our jobs, and I was given the news over the phone that I have kept my job.

I was given the news over the phone because I have now been off work for three days with flu, and as I write, I am still feeling no better and am off to bed again having does myself up again.

So I can't raise a glass to myself, but also, I am disappointed that some of my colleagues are losing jobs, which is hard to take for people when only last year we were rated as "good" by Ofsted.

Hopefully when I am better and when my colleagues have found new school to teach at then I can enjoy the moment more.
