Having watched Sion Simon's spoof video, I am completely at a loss to work out what all the furore is about.
Conservative's have attacked it, largely on the basis it seems of what has beeen reported and not what he actually says. In tThe video I have seen of it he never says he is David Cameron. If Conservatives have seen it as being David Cameron, then they should also be able to stretch their imagination enough also to see that it is a joke. Tories always like to claim that things are too "Politically correct", yet at the first opportunity some go all "Politically correct". They can't have it both ways.
What has really surprised me is that Labour MP Stephen Pound appears to be joining in with the Tories on this one. This surprises me as Stephen Pound is usually one of the more cerebral Labour MP's and has a good sense of humour. Perhaps losing control of Ealing Council last year has rocked his confidence and he now fears for his parliamentary seat ?
My opinion was that it was amusing to see an MP with a sense of humour. The video made me smile a little, but was not side splitting or for that matter offensive. Harmless fun is the phrase that comes to mind

Nick, if you have a look on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9DYULkAhWI the video is titled Webcameron down with the kids.
I saw it about a week ago and thought that it was some stupid bloke and didn't think anymore about it. I was surprised to find out that it was Sion Simon, an elected representative. I am sure he could find something better to do with his time. He should leave comedy to people who are actually funny and his "street talk" is just awful. Is he really proud of this?
I tried the link but didn't get anything to work. However, I accept what you say and thank you for making this clear.
I viewed it yesterday via the BBC website.
