Have Fakenham Town Council misunderstood ?

At full Council last week, the public conveniences working party had their report published (it is a public document available on the internet.

So I was very surprised to see on the agenda for Fakenham Town Council, an item regarding the imminent closure of the Toilets on Highfield Road. I cannot attend the town council meeting so will not be able to press them on this matter, but it is extremely unfair to suggest that the District Council is threatening imminent closure of the toilets when quite clearly it is not the case ? What is more worrying is that this could worry local people needlessly.

Of course, some have suggested that with the District Council elections only some six months off that some town councillors might have an axe to grind, but I'd prefer to believe that they've made a simple error.
