Senior Tory says "You may not like Cameron, but don't tell everyone"

A senior Tory, Lord Marland, has called for Tories to keep criticism of David Cameron behind closed doors.

"It is very unfortunate when people jump on the criticism bandwagon when you hit turbulent times because you are playing straight into the hands of our opposition.

I would urge all supporters to keep their own counsel and to debate behind closed doors and show discipline. "

It's like the dreaded vote of confidence from the board at a football club for the manager.

So clearly the Tories are now admitting that they have a problem with Cameron and it is not just being stoked up by the opposition because they now admit that even their own supporters are not all supporting him.

It's going to be a long summer for "Dave".
