However, I daresay that the (admittedly overpriced) 64GB version with the external keyboard accessory would be desirable even if it didn't have the apple symbol...as long as it had the sleek design and Aladdin's cave of apps. My biggest complaint is actually that it will be restricted to app-level games for at least the next few years.
